About the Artist...

G’sta is a dynamic Hip-Hop Artist and Producer whose journey embodies resilience, innovation, and artistic determination. Known for his executive-level professionalism, G’sta founded So Stimulus Entertainment and Productions in June 2000—a move that laid the foundation for a long-standing and influential career in music.

In 2003, G’sta relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, just two years before the devastating impact of Hurricane Katrina on his hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana. This life-altering event prompted a temporary pause in his rising career, as he chose to reconnect with family. Rather than view the interruption as a setback, G’sta used it as motivation to rebuild. In 2007, he moved to Houston, Texas, where he reignited his brand, So Stimulus Entertainment, and resumed his pursuit of musical excellence.

By 2018, G’sta had brought his talents to Las Vegas, Nevada. With over 25 years of experience, his legendary status as one of New Orleans’ most prolific musical talents earned him the nickname “The Walking Classic,” a nod to his timeless rhyme schemes and versatile production style.

G’sta’s early start in music came with guidance from his uncle, the legendary Carl Marshall, at Giftt Recording Studios in New Orleans. At just 11 years old, G’sta began honing his production skills. His debut album, Misery (1997), was followed by the collaborative World of Syn (1998) with Casual-T, generating underground buzz in New Orleans. That momentum led to the creation of So Stimulus Entertainment, which released its first group project, Certified Hustlaz, featuring the late B-Red and Casual-T.

G’sta’s second solo effort, This Is What I Go Through, was completed but ultimately shelved after he turned down a standard major label deal—choosing independence over compromise. Undeterred, he continued producing and collaborating with emerging NOLA talent, including artists affiliated with No Limit Records. In 2002, he co-created the first anthem for New Orleans’ NBA team, "Get ‘ta Buzzin’", with Casual-T.

Throughout his career, G’sta has collaborated with a wide range of industry heavyweights, including Swizz Beatz, Cassidy, B.G. (Cash Money Records), David Banner, and Afeni Shakur. He was a featured performer at the 2005 Atlantis Music Summit, sharing the stage with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, The Outlawz, and others. That same year, Layzie Bone of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony recognized G’sta’s talent, resulting in the joint album We Workin’, which was recorded concurrently with Bone Thugs’ Strength & Loyalty (Interscope, 2007).

In 2010, G’sta joined Carl Marshall’s Good Lovin’ Will Make You Cry tour, appearing on the single "Tryin’ to Get My Groove On". He also performed at major events like the Texas Urban Music Summit and Core DJ’s Block Party, while touring nationally with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. That same year marked the release of the first installment in his Walking Classic mixtape trilogy, a project that further cemented his influence and creativity.

G’sta’s journey is a testament to perseverance, authenticity, and an unrelenting passion for Hip-Hop. With multiple projects in development, he continues to push creative boundaries. His latest single, "#IWin", is slated for release on August 29th, 2025, across all digital platforms.
